Maria Wicker

Maria Wicker is a trusted name in the community since she began serving its real estate needs almost 20 years ago.  Since year 2000 she has consistently been awarded yearly as a Top Producer in the industry.  With her innate talent and skill at negotiating, solid experience and dependability, she has become the real estate agent of choice for her local community and beyond. Maria holds several designations in real estate to enhance her selling, buying, marketing and negotiation skills.  She believes that by adding extra milestones of education that she will be able to represent her clients with the utmost service.

Her designations include: ABR® (Accredited Buyers Representative), CHMS (Certified Home Marketing Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). The CRS is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education. Most recently, achieved her Certified Residential Leasing Specialist designation.

Why I Run?

I love to run!  I run marathons because I love the challenge!  I began running in my forties for health and to honor the legacy of one of our furry canine children, Winston, who passed away unexpectedly in 2012.  I have gradually worked up to running multiple marathons annually.  To date, I have run more than 30 marathons in over five different countries.  I also run marathons to be a positive role model and inspiration to others.  Each race that I finish is a testament to my strength of mind and perseverance.  It is my strong effort to be a positive role model.

My running marathons correlates directly to how I practice real estate…when the transaction gets tough and many would want to give up, I persevere and ultimately finish with a win for my client!  Running marathons has provided me with a confidence and spirit to know that I can do what may seem like the impossible. Maria is a World Abbot Marathon Majors Six Star Finisher.  She proudly completed her Sixth Star in 2019 with her completion of the 123rd Boston Marathon.  To date she has completed 57 marathons and is halfway through her second round for the World Abbot Marathon Majors.
